Perks of Working at Disney

At Walt Disney World Resort, our cast members are the key to the magic, and just as they care for our guests, we care for our cast members. Disney provides a variety of benefits, perks, and programs that have the greatest impact on our cast members, help them live well and realize their goals, from personal offerings like family care and wellness resources, to professional opportunities and education assistance.

Celebrating Each Other

Disney has a long tradition of recognizing and appreciating cast members, including for their years of service with the Company and for outstanding performance. Through recognition programs, we offer ways for our cast members to show appreciation for each other’s work creating magic and inspiring others. We also recognize employees for all they do through special pins, celebrations, and service and lifetime achievement awards.

Cast Activities

Cast members are invited to participate in distinctly Disney activities that build a sense of community. Whether it is sunrise yoga in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park or team events like annual canoe races and trivia challenges, we bring cast members together to meet new friends, share interests and have fun together.

Cast Fitness sports leagues and classes are held throughout the year and all Cast Members have access to Mickey’s Retreat at Little Lake Bryan, a 19-acre recreation facility that offers swimming, a children’s play area, picnic pavilions, an all-purpose sports field and volleyball, tennis and basketball courts.

Business Employee Resource Groups

These groups are a key component of nurturing a sense of employee belonging, visibility, and cultural understanding. Cast members can network with peers, participate in outreach and mentoring programs, acquire new skills, build leadership capabilities, and develop their careers.
