LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (Aug. 6, 2024) – As summer fades, the arrival of fall brings an array of delightful family adventures to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. From beloved annual festivities to spooky treats and experiences, there is something for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
Experience Spooky Fun at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park conjures up a spellbinding mix of fun with lively entertainment, exclusive character photo ops, and deliciously spooky treats. This separately ticketed event runs on select nights from Aug. 9 to Oct. 31, after regular park hours, from 7 p.m. to midnight.
- Partygoers will be able to strike a scary pose with Mickey Mouse at Town Square and Minnie Mouse at Storybook Circus in their brand-new neon spiderweb costumes.
- From the moment the party begins, and throughout Magic Kingdom, guests will be able to spot some of their favorite sinister villains and ghoulish foes.
- Guests are invited to embrace their inner villain at the new DescenDANCE Party, inspired by the Disney original movie “Descendants: The Rise of Red”, hosted at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.
- For the first time during the party, Bruno from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” will greet guests alongside Mirabel in Fairytale Garden.
- Over 50 delectable themed fall and Halloween treats will be available throughout the park. Some treats will be exclusively offered for purchase during the event, while others can be enjoyed by Magic Kingdom guests during regular park hours.
- Visitors can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the park, savoring delectable Mars treats like SKITTLES, SNICKERS, and M&M’S, all while donning their cheerful, non-frightening Halloween costumes.
- Returning favorites include “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade”, which will take place a full hour earlier at 8:15 p.m., “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks show hosted by Jack Skellington, and the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show.
- TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be available via standby queues. Guests will not need to join a virtual queue during parties.
Enchanting Fall Decorations at Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom’s spirited seasonal decor brings even more chills and thrills. From Aug. 5 to Nov. 1, Main Street, U.S.A. is transformed into an autumn paradise, bursting with vibrant fall colors, towering pumpkins, friendly scarecrows, and so much more.
Sip, Savor and Explore at the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE
Embark on a culinary world tasting adventure with the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE from Aug. 29 – Nov. 23. Get ready to sip and savor at more than 30 Global Marketplaces throughout EPCOT, including returning favorites such as The Fry Basket, Flavors from Fire, Canada, India, and Spain. The fun doesn’t stop with the food. There are plenty of exciting activities for the whole family to enjoy!
- Emile’s Fromage Montage is a cheese lover’s delight! Guests can purchase five different items from a list of qualifying cheese dishes available at select Global Marketplaces and collect a special stamp from each location they visit. Then, guests can head to Shimmering Sips hosted by CORKCICLE to redeem a sweet treat unique to the festival.
- Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak will send kids of all ages on a savory scavenger hunt around the festival. To participate, guests can purchase a map and stickers from select festival merchandise locations and then explore EPCOT to find Remy statuettes to match their stickers to the map. Once their search is complete, guests can return their map to redemption locations in the park to receive a festival keepsake.
The festival will also welcome back the popular Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue at America Gardens Theatre, with fresh-to-the-festival acts like Yellowcard, The Wanted, and David Archuletta, to house favorites like Hanson, Tiffany, and Boyz II Men.
Guests can commemorate their visit by bringing festival magic home with official event merchandise, such as apparel, home décor and trading pins.
Discover Autumn Tastes, Sounds and Seasonal Shopping at Disney Springs
Starting on Sept. 9, guests at Disney Springs can experience festive fall fun with delicious treats, seasonal merchandise, and spooky entertainment.
- Goofy’s Candy Co., The Ganachery and Amorette’s Patisserie are among the different locations where guests can indulge in seasonal treats.
- At the World of Disney store, shoppers can discover a spine-chilling range of Disney-themed Halloween must-haves.
- The a-capella group Squad Ghouls will be performing every Saturday in October at AdventHealth Waterside Stage.
- Zombie Drummers and Skeleton Stiltwalkers will roam Town Center every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October.

Jump Into Fall with the Disney Wine & Dine Half-Marathon Weekend
The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, October 31-November 3, 2024, is celebrating its 15th anniversary. Thousands of runners will participate in the 5K, 10K, half marathon, Disney Two Course Challenge (10K and half marathon) and the Post-Race Party at Walt Disney World Resort. The event also includes the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, featuring exclusive fitness merchandise. Participants get the opportunity to run through Disney parks, enjoy world-class entertainment, and earn unique medals.
