Real-Life ‘Incredibles’ Brother-Sister Duo Ride Love of ‘The Incredibles’ to runDisney Springtime Surprise Victories at Walt Disney World

Stephen and Elizabeth Fengler of Wallingford, Connecticut are the 10-mile race male and female division winners, respectively; Heather Sealover of suburban Orlando claimed the wheelchair division title; Ten-miler ends the runDisney race season

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (April 6, 2025) – The Disney-Pixar film ‘The Incredibles’ is all about the power of a family unit, so naturally Stephen Fengler and his sister Elizabeth Fengler turned the “Incredibles’-themed runDisney Springtime Surprise 10-Miler into a family affair Sunday, sweeping the male and female divisions, a rarity in runDisney history.

It was that love of the Disney-Pixar movie that led the brother-sister duo from Wallingford, Connecticut to enter the race. And once they got to the starting line early Sunday morning at EPCOT, their running superpowers kicked in, propelling them along the 10-mile course through Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Fittingly, at the end, they each earned a finishers’ medal themed around ‘The Incredibles.’

“I wanted to do a runDisney race and this one is themed around ‘The Incredibles’ and I really love ‘The Incredibles’’’ Elizabeth said. “How about we go do this one and let’s just see what we got.’’

What they had was pretty…well, incredible. Stephen covered the 10 miles in 58:23 and he said he had time to stop briefly to take pictures with some of the Disney characters along the course. He finished just ahead of Nicholas Jollye of Orlando, Florida (58:39) and Joseph Russo of Elgin, Illinois (58:48). Meanwhile, Elizabeth posted a time of 1:02:56, which was well ahead of Kelly Harris of Winter Garden, Florida (1:05:46) and Reagan Olivastro of Unionville, Connecticut (1:07:38).

In the wheelchair division, Heather Sealover of Clermont, Florida dominated the race, crossing the finish line in 45:29 followed by two competitors from Boerne, Texas – Nicholas McCoy (54:17) and Linden Williamson (55:21).

It was an amazing end to the race weekend, which included a 5K, a 10K, a three-race challenge (5K, 10K and 10-miler) as well as a yoga event. The race weekend also marked the launch of the new Disney-themed Brooks running shoe collection, the first significant collaboration between the two brands since they announced their relationship last year.

It was also the last event of the runDisney race season, which starts again this fall with the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend (Sept. 4-7).
