Creating special memories through food is what our Dinner Cooks do best! From casual to fine dining, our talented Dinner Cooks have access to the best ingredients creating one-of-a-kind culinary experiences for guests through food at Disneyland Resort.

Our Entertainment cast members accompany Mickey Mouse and his friends throughout our parks, perform in our parades and spectaculars, and immerse our guests in the stories that bring our lands and characters to life.

In addition to welcoming guests checking in and out of our hotel rooms, these cast members are Disneyland Resort experts and enhance guests’ experience by providing information about services at our parks as well as the surrounding Southern California area.

Meet Angela
Angela was hired into an entry-level hourly role in Guest Services, where she served as a Disneyland Resort expert and enhanced the guests’ experience by providing information about the services available in the theme parks. In this role, she gained invaluable problem-solving and world-class guest service skills.
Angela Learns New Skills
Angela later trained to become a VIP Tour Guide, hosting visiting groups and providing the best possible personalized experiences for them. In this role, Angela earned tips in addition to her hourly rate.
Next Steps
Further looking for growth opportunities in her department, Angela expressed interest in becoming a working lead. She was given the opportunity to supervise other cast members, providing further support to her team and the operation.
Aspiring For More
Angela decided to enroll in Disney Aspire, an education investment program that helps with college tuition for eligible hourly employees. With this educational support, she earned her bachelor’s degree, helping her grow her career potential.
Leadership Opportunities
After taking advantage of leadership training programs, such as Emerging Leaders, Angela was later promoted into a salaried leadership role as a stage manager. In this role, she serves her team of hundreds of cast members, making sure they have what they need to provide an unforgettable experience to park guests.
