Workforce Development
The workforce development initiative empowers jobseekers in Orange County by collaborating with school districts and nonprofit organizations that serve a diverse set of community needs.
About the Program
The community workforce development initiative at Disneyland Resort helps develop and prepare the workforce of tomorrow in Orange County, providing mentoring and career readiness opportunities to Anaheim students and residents. Annually, Disneyland Resort awards its workforce development grants to a select group of local school districts and nonprofit organizations. Since 2017, the resort’s annual workforce development grants have provided more than $7.5 million in financial support and countless volunteer hours by Disney VoluntEARS. In addition to impacting the lives of jobseekers, the program makes a profound impact on the Disney VoluntEARS who support it and the nonprofit organizations who are better able to serve their community with support from Disneyland Resort.
