Disneyland Resort Unveils Cast Care Center and Green Space to Support Cast Member Wellness

For nearly 70 years, Disneyland Resort has uplifted and inspired cast members to make dreams come true for thousands of guests from around the globe. But, to consistently create happiness for others, it is important for cast members to focus on and prioritize their wellness, utilizing the many resources provided by Disney. To further help them do that, Disneyland Resort unveiled the new Cast Care Center and outdoor green space this month – a resource vital to the wellbeing of cast members.

The impact of the Cast Care Center

The Cast Care Center at Disneyland Resort first opened in 2022 as a space for magic makers to find support and navigate resources available to them as a cast member, allowing them to, as the center’s slogan states, “face life’s hurdles with confidence.” As cast members began to utilize this new resource, it became clear that the program was valuable and offered cast members critical services and benefits.

“It’s been truly inspiring to see how large and important the Cast Care Center has become over the years to so many cast members,” said Stage Manager Kaitlyn Parsons. “From the launch of the daily Cast Care Leader Program to a space solely dedicated to Cast Care, it truly shows how this company prioritizes their cast members and will continue to do so for years to come.”

Earlier this month, cast members gathered for the grand celebration of the new Cast Care Center and outdoor green space alongside Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock. The special event also included a visit from Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse to celebrate the occasion.

“This multipurpose facility is another example of the intentionality we’re putting into enhancing our cast experience,” said Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock. “I’m thrilled cast members will have one-on-one support to access the many services and benefits available to them and their families.”

In addition to new resources, the space is also opening with extended hours, allowing for an increased focus on providing resources for cast members who work varying or overnight shifts. Additionally, cast now have three ways to connect with care representatives; they can visit in-person, call or reach out to the Cast Care Center on an online support request form.
