Disneyland Resort and the Los Angeles and Orange County Building Trade Enter into a Project Labor Agreement

After the unanimous approval from the Anaheim City Council on May 7 for DisneylandForward, Disney and the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council enter into a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). DisneylandForward is a 40-year land use agreement with the City of Anaheim and includes a 1.9 billion expansion investment over the first ten-years of the project.

The historic PLA with the Building Trades focuses on a new parking garage, bridge and multi-modal transit center that includes 17,000 parking spaces with associated facilities and support resources to enhance the Disney experience. The project will be slightly larger than the current two structures – Pixar Pals and Mickey & Friends and represents the continued collaboration between Disney and organized labor.
