On May 18, three days of voting culminated in the majority of Characters and Parades cast members voting “yes” to unionize and have Actors’ Equity Association become their collective bargaining representative.
Nearly 1700 Characters and Parades cast members will be represented by Actors’ Equity including Pageant Helpers (Entertainment Hosts, Trainers, Sculpted Character Performers, Look-alike Character Performers, Stage Schedulers, and Leads) and Parade Helpers (Sculpted Character Performers, Look-alike Character Performers, Dancers, Trainers, and Leads).
