Welcoming accommodations designed for families

When the Disneyland Hotel opened in 1955 – just three months after Disneyland Park opened to guests – it soon became Orange County’s first major hotel.

Over the decades, the Disneyland Hotel invested in modernizing its rooms and amenities, while preserving its magical atmosphere. Today, it continues to deliver a distinctly Disney experience for families, kids and kids-at-heart.

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel opened in September 2023 as the newest Disney Vacation Club resort at Disneyland Resort. The tower features 344 themed guest rooms designed to immerse guests in the worlds of classic Disney stories while offering modern, just-like-home amenities. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel includes duo studios, deluxe studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, and grand villas that sleep up to 12 guests.

Special offerings for the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration

  • Hotel guests can arrange to surprise their loved ones with an In-Room Celebration delivered directly to their hotel room. These beautifully themed gift baskets and decorations include delicious Disney treats, balloon bouquets, gift items and a fabric door banner. For the 70th Celebration, the Happiest Park Welcome Celebration basket has several festively logoed items and keepsakes.

  • Goofy’s Kitchen is a fun-filled breakfast or dinner buffet with Chef Goofy and his pals! Seasonal experiences at Goofy’s Kitchen are available throughout the year.
  • Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is a bewitching hideaway inspired by the world-famous Jungle Cruise, offering adventurous cocktails and pu pu platters in a tropical oasis.

Shopping: Disney’s Fantasia Shop and “small world” Gifts & Sundries are conveniently located near the Disneyland Hotel lobby, offering souvenirs, apparel, sundries, snacks and more.

Themed Towers: Each of the four towers in the complex has a distinct theme. The Fantasy Tower with the main lobby showcases Mary Blair artwork, creating a connection to “it’s a small world;” the Frontier Tower lobby features a scale model of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad; and Jungle Cruise characters are incorporated into the design of the Adventure Tower. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel make up the fourth tower, referred to as the Discovery Tower.

Retro-themed Pool Experiences: The expansive oasis features the E-Ticket pool, which nods to theme park tickets of yesteryear, and the smaller D-Ticket pool. The two water slides are designed to look like the original Mark 1 Disneyland Monorail. There are also Minnie and Mickey-themed whirlpools to lounge in.

The Palette Pool area at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel boasts decor inspired by beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios stories, including a “Steamboat Willie” splash pad.

Signature Suites: For the ultimate in accommodations, the Disneyland Hotel offers a unique collection of themed suites, such as the Mickey Mouse Penthouse, Pirates of the Caribbean Suite, Adventureland Suite and Big Thunder Suite.

Concierge Lounge: In summer 2025, the Disneyland Hotel will unveil an all-new concierge lounge, the High Key Club in the Adventure Tower, celebrating the music and sounds of Disneyland park circa 1955. The lounge will also pay homage to the mid-century modern aesthetic of the era through music and prominent artifacts. Here, club-level guests may enjoy breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, evening hors d’oeuvres and desserts. It will be a special place to watch Disneyland park fireworks and enjoy music from the show on nights that feature pyrotechnics.

Meeting Space: Meetings are easily accommodated with 136,000 square feet of flexible function space ranging from boardrooms to ballrooms, with an exhibit hall, Sleeping Beauty Pavilion with floor-to-ceiling windows, breakout rooms, lounges and lawn areas.
