Black Panther at Avengers Campus

Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park Fact Sheet

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Disney California Adventure Park guests team up alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and find their power at Avengers Campus in Disneyland Resort. At this highly immersive land, recruits can join Rocket on an intergalactic adventure to rescue the Guardians of the Galaxy, savor size-defying food from Ant-Man and the Wasp’s team of food research chefs, or partner with Spider-Man to shoot webs and save Avengers Campus from impending chaos. Along the way, guests may encounter favorite Super Heroes, and occasionally villains.

The story behind Avengers Campus: The complex was once owned by Stark Industries under Howard Stark. Tony Stark inherited it and used it to build the CAMPUS, standing for Centralized Assemble Mobilized to Prepare, Unite and Safeguard. During their visit to Avengers Campus, guests are invited to an Open House at WEB, which stands for Worldwide Engineering Brigade. The institution brings together bright inventors like Peter Parker, who have been assembled by Tony Stark to invent new technologies and equip everyday people to become Super Heroes.

Future growth: Announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024, two new, thrilling attractions will join the campus and double its size in the future. Avengers Infinity Defense will take recruits to iconic locations like Asgard, Wakanda and New York City with the Avengers and battle King Thanos. Stark Flight Lab places guests inside Tony Stark’s workshop to test new tech he’s working on: two-person pods get deployed to a test station before a robot arm grabs a pod and starts whirling around in a simulated flight.

Attractions:

  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! – Guests step inside a towering citadel, where they join fan-favorite character Rocket to rescue the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy from their ruthless capture by the Collector. Standing at 183 feet tall and 40 feet underground, guests entering this realm will experience a unique drop adventure accompanied by one of six songs (offers Lightning Lane access with the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass*).
  • WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure – When Peter Parker’s helpful Spider-Bots go haywire, guests must team up with Spider-Man to shoot webs and save the entirety of Avengers Campus from havoc (offers Lightning Lane access with the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass).

Dining:

  • Pym Test Kitchen, inspired by the revolutionary shrink-and-grow technology of Pym Particles, serves phenomenal food at unusual scales – such as the plant-based Neutron Nachos with Impossible taco meat that also comes in a Kids’ Meal version (Mobile order available on the Disneyland app**).
  • Pym Tasting Lab has specialty craft beers, cocktails and nonalcoholic refreshments (Mobile order available on the Disneyland app).
  • Shawarma Palace and Shawarma & More offer heroic hand-held savory wraps and more, just like the Avengers ate after finishing the Battle of New York.
  • Terran Treats satisfies a sweet tooth with its churros and cosmic orbs for Terrans, the term those on other planets use for humans.

Shopping:

  • Avengers Vault – At this vault in Avengers Headquarters, guests will find powerful artifacts collected by the Avengers and iconic gear from alternate realities.
  • WEB Suppliers Across from the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB) Building, this store offers merchandise inspired by Spider-Man, Spider-Bots and accessories that provide unique powers when used on WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.
  • Campus Supply Pod – Next to Pym Test Kitchen, guests can find essential Super Hero supplies, plus clothing items, drinkware and more.
  • The Collector’s Warehouse – After escaping the fortress on Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, guests can conclude their thrilling tour with a large selection of Super Hero souvenirs.

Entertainment:

  • Recruits are able to learn Wakandan wisdom as they train with the Dora Milaje at “Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje.”
  • During Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!, recruits are invited to help Peter Quill get Gamora to smile by showing off their moves to rock-and-roll classics from his legendary mixtape.
  • On the rooftop of the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB) building, recruits can witness “The Amazing Spider-Man!”, where the legendary Super Hero defies gravity, flipping more than 60 feet into the air.
  • At Avengers Headquarters, guests may encounter heroes such as Black Widow, Thor, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, The Wasp, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Groot, Gamora, Captain America and Ms Marvel.

Did you know?

  • Iron Man may be spotted around the land wearing his latest armor, the Mark 80, designed specifically for Avengers Campus.
  • Aspiring Super Heroes may acquire WEB Tech accessories to make their experience on WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure even more extraordinary. While wearing the WEB Power Band, their hidden features will give them customized powers on the attraction. One of these accessories includes the Mystic Amplifier, which lets recruits harness the power of the mystic arts during the attraction.
  • Guests with a keen eye on WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure may spot original props from favorite films, including “The Avengers,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Ant-Man” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”
  • Riders on WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure can opt to join the Single Rider line to save time. While guests will be separated from their party for the attraction experience, this line tends to board quicker than the traditional standby line.
  • Beginning in the late afternoons during the Halloween season, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! transforms into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. This experience takes place right after the events of the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, where guests join Rocket to save Groot, who was left behind. This mission differs though, with the previously set-free monsters roaming the citadel freely and scarily.
