Inspired by the traditions of Día de los Muertos, Plaza de la Familia will bring music, vibrant décor, festive foods and exciting live entertainment to Paradise Gardens at Disney California Adventure Park, in Anaheim, Calif., from Aug. 23 through Nov. 2, 2024. During Halloween Time at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., at dusk, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will transform into Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark, releasing menacing monsters and free-roaming fiends among its wickedly thrilling drops. The Guardians have successfully escaped The Collector’s Fortress, but have accidentally left Groot behind, so Rocket needs guests’ help to distract the creatures that have been released, so he can rescue Groot in this exciting seasonal overlay. During the Halloween Season at the Disneyland Resort from Aug. 23, Goofy’s Kitchen will have a Halloween overlay, where Goofy and his pals will don their seasonal outfits for a dining experience like no other at Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, Calif. Available for the first time as a daily offering during the 2024 Halloween season at the Disney Theater in Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., the interactive “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” show will encourage younger guests to join in a not-so-scary sing and dance-along with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., will feature a merry makeover of the beloved eerie estate. Jack Skellington is behind the mayhem, decorating the mansion with frightfully festive touches inspired by “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.” As the attraction’s reimagined queue experience continues to materialize, Haunted Mansion Holiday will be available via virtual queue only when it reopens just in time for the fall season.
