ANAHEIM, Calif. – Guests of all ages can celebrate beloved stories from Pixar Animation Studios and see them come to life all year long at the Disneyland Resort. With Pixar-themed lands like Cars Land and Pixar Pier, along with attractions, themed entertainment, dining, and merchandise, Disneyland Resort offers a variety of experiences for guests to celebrate the themes of friendship and beyond, year-round.

Here are some ways guests can join in on all the Pixar-themed fun:

Immersive Lands and Attractions

  • Embark on exciting adventures into the worlds of Pixar stories with two themed lands, Cars Land and Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park. Radiator Springs comes to life in Cars Land with picturesque landscapes and stunning scenery that guests will recognize from the “Cars” films. Pixar Pier is a whimsical seaside boardwalk and home to a cast of Pixar characters and their stories. Highlights include:
    • Go on a high-speed mad dash with superheroes from “The Incredibles” onIncredicoaster in Pixar Pier.

Themed Entertainment and Character Encounters

Guests of all ages can enjoy themed entertainment and meet some of their favorite Pixar characters at Disneyland Resort.

  • Chat with Crush, the totally tubular sea turtle from “Finding Nemo” and “Finding Dory” for Turtle Talk with Crush at the Disney Animation Building in Disney California Adventure Park.
  • Several times a day, guests are invited to join the mission for Operation: Playtime! – featuring the Green Army Patrol from “Toy Story” as their rhythmic drumbeats attract new toy recruits in the Pixar Pier area.
  • Create one-of-a-kind memories with more than a dozen Pixar character encounters across the Disneyland Resort. Guests may experience strong feelings of excitement if they spot Joy and Sadness from “Inside Out” at Pixar Pier. And he may be speedy, but Lightning McQueen from “Cars” is happy to pose for photos with his biggest fans in Cars Land.

  • Enjoy a variety of Pixar-themed food and beverages at more than nine dining locations across the Disneyland Resort—grab and go at quick service spots like Poultry Palace and Alien Pizza Planet or dine in and delight in waterfront views of Pixar Pier at Lamplight Lounge. Sweet treats await at locations like Cozy Cone Motel, Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats and Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums.
  • Shop and take home Pixar-themed treasures that celebrate fan-favorite stories, including Knick’s Knacks, inspired by the famous Pixar short and Little Green Men Store Command for a galaxy-wide selection of apparel, toys and other Disney and Pixar merchandise.
  • Guests of all ages can step right up and put their skills to the test at the carnival-style game booths, including WALL·E Space Race from “WALL·E” and Bullseye Stallion Stampede from “Toy Story” along the Pixar Promenade.

Extend your stay and celebrate the artistry of Pixar Animation Studios

Pixar Place Hotel opened on Jan. 30, marking its transformation into the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States. Inspired by the artistry of Pixar Animation Studios, the 15-story hotel is filled with nods to every Pixar feature film to date through various styles of playful artwork, contemporary decor and character encounters. Highlights include:

  • Vibrant artwork, like one-of-a-kind portraits and concept art that celebrate the filmmakers’ storytelling and creative development process, can be found throughout the entire hotel in areas like dining locations, common spaces and guest rooms.
  • On the third-floor rooftop deck, Pixar-themed family fun awaits with play games inspired by the studio’s iconic shorts like “Bao,” and” La Luna.”
  • In the pool area, Pixar Place Hotel guests can enjoy a “Finding Nemo” – themed splash pad at Nemo’s Cove, take a ride on Crush’s Surfin’ Slide and go for a dip in Pixel Pool.
  • Encounter unique characters like Bing Bong, Riley’s imaginary friend from “Inside Out” who is part cat, elephant, dolphin, and cotton candy. Follow the sound of jazz and guests may find Joe Gardner from “Soul” getting lost in the music as he plays the piano for passersby.
