Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park Fact Sheet

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Beloved Pixar Animation Studios stories and characters come to life at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park, a land that features attractions such as the thrilling Incredicoaster and interactive Toy Story Midway Mania!, Pixar-inspired food, character sightings and shopping. This reimagined seaside waterfront debuted in 2018.

Pixar Pier consists of five distinct “neighborhoods” themed around the excitement and eclecticism of Pixar, including Pixar Pier Entry, Incredibles Park, Toy Story Boardwalk, Pixar Promenade and Inside Out Headquarters.

What’s new: Starting May 16, 2025, Toy Story Midway Mania! will incorporate themed design elements nodding to the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration.

Attractions:

  • Incredicoaster – A super-speedy coaster adventure with the Parr family to chase after the elusive baby Jack-Jack (offers Lightning Lane access with the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass*).
  • Pixar Pal-A-Round – Take in the view on a unique Ferris wheel that offers swoops, swings and slides, or a still, relaxing experience.

Dining:

  • Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats, inspired by the lovable and not-at-all-abominable monster from Disney and Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.,” satisfies the sweet tooth of guests with fan-favorite soft-serve cups and classic cones.
  • Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums features baby Jack-Jack’s favorite sweet treat – delicious cookies served with assorted milks, including a gluten-free cookie option.

  • Señor Buzz Churros offers guests the quintessential Disneyland Resort treat – a sweet and crispy Cinnamon Sugar Galaxy Churro.
  • Angry Dogs is the hot spot for hot dogs. Anger from the Disney and Pixar hits “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2” invites guests to relish bliss on a bun with either a spicy or not-so-spicy hot dog.
  • Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff presents delightful confections such as saltwater taffy and rainbow cotton candy (Mobile order available on the Disneyland app**).
  • Lamplight Lounge offers gastropub cuisine, signature cocktails and panoramic waterfront views surrounded by the creativity of Pixar animation through the years.
  • Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining serves innovative, gastropub-style appetizers and signature libations out of its charming alfresco patio.

Shopping:

  • Knick’s Knacks – Guests can discover Pixar apparel and souvenirs alongside a colorful history of the studio’s history. On occasion, a Disney artist will create original pieces of art right before guests’ eyes.
  • Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff – In addition to sweets, there’s treasures to be found inside this shop filled with toys, apparel, accessories and more.

Design Inspiration: The design of Pixar Pier takes inspiration from seaside amusement parks and beachfront resorts on the California coast at the turn of the century, including such classic piers as Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz and Pacific Ocean Park in Santa Monica. Pixar Pier features fanciful facades and whimsical towers decorated with colorful festoon lights, murals, graphics and architectural ornaments that vividly showcase Pixar characters.

Entertainment: The land features character greetings with Pixar favorites throughout the day. At Incredibles Park, guests can strike a pose with Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible. The nearby Toy Story Boardwalk has Woody, Bo Peep and Buzz Lightyear ready to make new friends. Over at Pixar Promenade, Joy, Sadness and Anger are ready to express their emotion with guests. In honor of the 30th anniversary of the Pixar Animation Studios film franchise “Toy Story,” Rex will make his debut at Pixar Pier in California Adventure for a limited time beginning June 1, 2025.
