New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park Fact Sheet

ANAHEIM, Calif. – New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park evokes the energy, elegance, colorful culture, music and architecture of the French Quarter. It features the classic attractions, Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion, along with distinctive boutiques and restaurants that give a taste of the Crescent City in the 1800s.

Walt Disney on New Orleans Square: “Disneyland would be a world of Americans, past and present, seen through the eyes of my imagination – a place of warmth and nostalgia, of illusion and color and delight.”

What’s New: In January 2025, a ghostly new bride materialized in the attic of the Haunted Mansion. She appears to float, and her gown flows as guests see and hear her red beating heart and a familiar candelabra. In December 2024, a new merchandise shop debuted near the exit of Haunted Mansion called Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond. The location is decorated with eclectic furniture including a crystal ball, fainting couch and the original parlor chandelier that Leota used in séances.
