Bayou Country at Disneyland Park Fact Sheet

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Just past the buzzing streets of New Orleans Square lies Bayou Country, a newly renamed land in Disneyland Park full of shady trees, mesmerizing music and a vast collection of enchanting surprises. Deep in Bayou Country, guests can encounter friendly woodland animals, a trumpet-playing gator, an adorable bear who craves deliciously sweet honey and even a musical cast of bears, frogs and tons of other critters. 

Attractions:

  • Tiana’s Bayou Adventure – Guests join Princess Tiana on a musical journey down the bayou as she prepares to throw a celebration during Mardi Gras season. New and familiar friends and critters can be seen throughout this water attraction. 
  • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh – A storybook come to life, this family attraction revisits beloved songs and scenes from “Winnie the Pooh” as guests buzz through the Hundred Acre Wood in an oversized beehive.
  • Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes – A grand “oar-venture” around Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, the boats are powered entirely by paddles and modeled after those used by early Native American and European explorers.

Dining: At the reimagined Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree quick-service restaurant, guests can enjoy some of Henry, Wendell, Big Al and the rest of the gang’s favorite regional barbecue dishes they discovered while performing their tunes from coast to coast. Guests can mobile order food and beverages from this location with the Disneyland app.*

Shopping:

  • Ray’s Berets – A place for guests to shop for headwear, apparel, accessories, toys and more alongside firefly Raymond and his firefly family in a cozy cabin 
  • Louis’ Critter Club – A one-stop shop for apparel, accessories, home décor and more featuring Princess Tiana and some of her favorite critters
  • Pooh Corner – Guests can find Winnie the Pooh merchandise, plus tasty treats prepared by in-house candy makers. Guests can mobile order food and beverages from this location with the Disneyland app.*

Entertainment: Deep within Bayou Country, near the exit of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction, families can meet and snap a picture with friends from the Hundred Acre Wood including Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. 

Did you know?

  • Tiana’s Bayou Adventure features new original Disney characters, including 19 critters – many of whom are talented musicians inhabiting the bayou.
  • Guests can enjoy some of the Country Bears’ greatest musical hits while dining at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree.
  • Guests will have fun looking for a tribute to the Country Bear Jamboree while riding The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. 
  • Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes was one of the first attractions created after the opening day of Disneyland Park, opening on July 4, 1956.
