Enchanting Escapes: New Adults-Only Experiences Inspired by Disney and Star Wars Stories Premiere Aboard the Disney Wish

Adults enjoy exclusive venues ranging from subtle theming to fully immersive storytelling

CELEBRATION, Fla. — Adults aboard the Disney Wish can escape, relax, dine and play in more ways than ever before aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship with exclusive venues and entertainment tailored just for them. Guests ages 18 and older find a variety of opportunities to unwind and indulge, including a first-of-its-kind lounge in a galaxy far, far away, a trio of premium culinary experiences inspired by a tale as old as time and the fleet’s first outdoor spa retreat.

“Our guests are often surprised by just how much fun and relaxation there is for adults on a Disney cruise,” said Laura Cabo, portfolio creative executive, Walt Disney Imagineering. “With the Disney Wish, we wanted to give our adult guests even more variety and options to customize their experience, whether they’re looking for elegant sophistication with just a touch of pixie dust, or full-scale immersion into some of their favorite Disney stories. Either way, one thing is for sure: adults will experience legendary Disney storytelling in all-new ways aboard the Disney Wish.”

Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge

For the first time on a Disney ship, guests embark on a space-jumping tour of the Star Wars galaxy at Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, styled as a high-end bar in a luxurious yacht-class spaceship. This richly themed, immersive experience is reserved for adults every evening, offering interactive tasting experiences and signature beverages inspired by a galaxy far, far away.

The venue’s sleek interior design and metallic detailing evokes a lavish starcruiser similar to Dryden Vos’ ship in “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” While guests sip their galactic concoctions, this space-faring voyage transports them to iconic locations from the eras of the Republic, Empire and First Order, jumping from one location to another via hyperspace. After each jump, sensational scenes unfold just beyond the ship’s panoramic viewport.

Ranging from serene vistas to action-packed encounters, the spectacles seen through this virtual “window” into the galaxy feature fan-favorite locales like Batuu, Tatooine, Mustafar and Coruscant. Surround-sound audio amplifies the experience as famous ships such as the Millenium Falcon and the Razor Crest rocket past.

Exquisite Specialty Dining

Aboard the Disney Wish, guests can savor gourmet meals and exceptional beverages at Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement and The Rose, an upscale suite of epicurean excellence exclusively for adults, inspired by the elegant icons of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Beauty and the Beast.”

Palo Steakhouse

Palo Steakhouse is an evolution of the Palo restaurant Disney cruisers know and love, now combining the relaxed sophistication of authentic Italian dining with the classic refinement of a modern steakhouse in a genteel setting inspired by Cogsworth, the tale’s majordomo-turned-enchanted-clock.

An elegant, welcoming environment with spectacular ocean views off the back of the ship, the venue offers a warm, luxurious palette of rich woods and shining metals, along with artwork and details hinting at ornate clocks, pendulums and gears. A private dining room is available for more intimate gatherings of up to 12 guests.

At Palo Steakhouse, guests choose from a selection of exquisite Italian dishes and the world’s best steaks, from the most elite American prime cuts to melt-in-your-mouth Australian wagyu to succulent Japanese Kobe and Miyazaki beefs. The show-stopping menu pairs with the finest Italian wines and bold craft beers — and for dessert, a fan-favorite indulgence: signature Palo chocolate souffle, prepared fresh-to-order and served piping hot with luscious vanilla bean and chocolate sauces.

Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement

Enchanté offers the most luxurious dining experience on board, featuring a gourmet menu crafted by three Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement of L’Assiette Champenoise, near Reims, France — one of the culinary masterminds behind the French-inspired fine-dining experience at Remy aboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.

This romantic and intimate venue plays off the dazzling candlelight and lavish hospitality of the film’s candelabra maitre d’, Lumiere, with shimmering light fixtures and illuminations giving life to the two intimate dining areas and private 10-seat dining room. Stunning ocean views complement an elegant infusion of soft blues and metallic embellishments.

The menu features superior products and seasonal ingredients sourced from around the world to create an exceptional ensemble of international dishes, masterfully developed with the passion, philosophy and expertise of Chef Lallement. From the moment they enter the glittering champagne room, guests are swept up in a sumptuous journey marked by consummate cuisine, superlative wines and first-class service.

The Rose

The Rose is a chic lounge at the entrance of Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, inspired by the fateful flower at the heart of the story. Guests enter The Rose through a corridor of beautiful, bespoke artwork commissioned exclusively for the Disney Wish. This grand entrance culminates in a gilded, golden rotunda, unfolding into a plush lounge with rich velvet seating, glorious views and magical illuminations.

The Rose provides an idyllic setting for a pre-dinner aperitif or after-dinner cocktail, with an extensive selection of high-end wines and liquors. Guests can also indulge in a special menu of gourmet amuse-bouche and small plates from the Enchanté galley, curated by Chef Lallement.

Enchanting Nightlife

Like every Disney Cruise Line vessel, the Disney Wish offers a collection of relaxed and refined bars and lounges reserved exclusively for adults each evening. But for the first time, these venues are spread among the ship’s other core gathering places for a more flexible, free-flow experience allowing guests — particularly parents — more opportunities to enjoy time together throughout their cruise. Also new is the prevalence of storytelling in these spaces, providing a variety of ways for adults to experience some of their favorite Disney tales in sophisticated ways designed especially for them.

Keg & Compass

Keg & Compass is a pub celebrating the adventure and romance of the sea, designed in the rustic architectural style of a late-1800s Norwegian sailor’s map room. Drawing inspiration from the rich folklore of Norse seafaring, period-style oil paintings depict tales of the deep with intricate carvings of tentacles, barnacles, compasses and more accentuating porthole frames.

Spanning the entire ceiling is a grand, fantastical map in old maritime style featuring, among other references to ocean lore, an homage to Disney characters and stories related to the sea. In addition to Ursula and Moana — appearing in the geographically accurate locations of their stories — the map highlights important locales related to The Walt Disney Company and, specifically, the design and construction of the Disney Wish.

This casual setting is perfect for guests to kick back and watch live sports, news and major broadcast events while sampling a specialized selection of beers, including three custom craft brews available exclusively aboard the Disney Wish, along with an assortment of liquors, wines and cocktails.

Nightingale’s

Nightingale’s is a refined piano bar inspired by Cinderella’s lyrical rendition of “Sing Sweet Nightingale” in the 1950 film, and offers an extensive menu of fine wines, bubblies and hand-crafted cocktails. Classically modern with a soft metallic palette, the bar features a glittering chandelier perched above the piano — a swirl of pearlescent bubbles and music notes displaying the titular song’s melody meticulously crafted out of shimmering rose gold. This vibrant lounge is a thematic extension of the fairytale-inspired Grand Hall from which it stems, with large doors allowing the twinkling tunes to spill out across the atrium, inviting passersby to stop and stay for a while.

The Bayou

Guests looking for New Orleans-inspired good time can go down to The Bayou, an informal lounge themed to “The Princess and the Frog.” Flourishing with magnolia blossoms, lily pads and a canopy of twinkling fireflies overhead, this space evokes the magical marsh where Tiana and Naveen take refuge in the film. Bronze statues of each character are featured prominently in the décor, and two gazebos on either side of the bar, inspired by the city’s iconic wrought-iron metalwork structures, provide intimate seating for small groups. This centrally located venue offers creative cocktails, specialty coffees and signature beignets in a lively, social atmosphere complete with live entertainment and musical performances.

Salon and Barbery

The Disney Wish premieres two brand-new salon experiences — the fleet’s first standalone venues for hairstyling and beauty services — where adults can treat themselves in inviting, social environments inspired by classic Walt Disney Animation Studios films.

Untangled Salon

At Untangled Salon, adults can let their hair down (and have it styled any way they want) in a light and airy environment perfect for pampering. Shades of purple and gold adorn this chic, high-end salon Inspired by Rapunzel — the artistic Disney Princess known for her long, flowing tresses. Floating lantern light fixtures and custom cut-metal privacy screens depicting Rapunzel’s own paintings add to the décor. One side of the space gleams and glows with the golden light of a signature chandelier emblematic of the iconic flower that gave her hair its magical qualities. In addition to haircuts and styling, the menu of services at Untangled Salon includes manicures, pedicures, teeth whitening and skin treatments.

Hook’s Barbery

Hook’s Barbery is a new twist on a traditional European men’s salon, offering cuts, shaves, and nail and skin care. Decked out in dark woods, handsome leather chairs and ornate golden mirrors, the space brims with narrative details inspired by its namesake, Captain Hook: an inlaid wooden map of Never Land, a hidden pocket watch and — of course — a hook, to name a few. A trio of seemingly nondescript lanterns occasionally come to life with lighting and audio effects to signify Tinker Bell jumping from one fixture to another.

Not only does Hook’s Barbery provide salon and barber services, but it also boasts the ultimate toast to a pirate’s life: a hidden bar. This (not-so-secret) treasure trove of pre-Prohibition bourbons, vintage whisky and port, aged rum and premium spirits is a liquor enthusiast’s paradise, and is the ideal location for low-key hangouts, romantic date nights, hosted tastings and special evening events.

Senses Spa and Senses Fitness

For the first time aboard a Disney ship, Senses Spa features a dedicated outdoor relaxation space where guests can unwind in whirlpool spas, rest on plush loungers and find their center during yoga sessions.

This open-air oasis is a brand-new extension to Disney Cruise Line’s signature Rainforest experience, reimagined for the Disney Wish to provide even more ways to relax and rejuvenate. The Rainforest introduces the fleet’s first ice lounge, allowing guests to combine thermal therapies, promoting both physical wellness and tranquility. It also includes guest-favorite elements like heated ergonomic loungers, sensory spa showers, and sauna, steam and dry chambers.

Senses Spa also features private treatment rooms and lavish spa villas for couples. In addition to a menu of massage, facial and acupuncture therapies, guests can select from specialized treatments customized to their needs, such as pain management and sleep improvement. Adjacent to the spa, the reimagined Senses Fitness offers state-of-the-art exercise and wellness facilities, including a main room with exercise equipment, a dedicated cycle studio and an aerobics room.

Quiet Cove Pool District

At Quiet Cove, guests aged 18 and older find a secluded adults-only district dedicated to lounging, sipping and soaking. Set away from the bustle of family activities, this peaceful refuge offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean from a luxurious infinity pool.

While children hang out with Disney characters in the coolest kids’ clubs at sea, parents enjoy much-needed “me time” with an escape to Quiet Cove. Here, they take a dip in the pool, unwind in a whirlpool spa, relax in a chaise lounge or indulge in a cool beverage from Cove Bar, an open-air watering hole offering beer, wine and cocktails.

A Disney Cruise Line guest favorite, Cove Café is a chic poolside lounge serving gourmet coffees, teas, specialty drinks and treats throughout the day. For the Disney Wish, the sophisticated yet casual spot freshens its look, reflecting the Oceania-inspired artistry of Disney’s “Moana.”

Maiden Voyage and Inaugural Season
