Spanning the upper decks of the Disney Adventure, this vibrant outdoor area will offer family friendly entertainment throughout the day
SINGAPORE (Oct. 16, 2024) – Toy Story Place will inspire guests to explore, play, connect and have fun in a whimsical water play land where the world of Pixar’s “Toy Story” movies spring to life in surprising and inventive ways. This vibrant outdoor area located on the upper decks of the Disney Adventure will offer spectacular ocean views and impressive panoramas looking down into Disney Imagination Garden.
Playful Water Features Inspired by the Characters in Pixar’s “Toy Story”
At Flying Saucer Splash Zone, families will wade into an oversized Pizza Planet toy set where the famous green Aliens from “Toy Story” have made a splash landing among the H2-Ooohhh. Guests will take on the role of honorary space cadets as they navigate the extraterrestrial water features, including rockets, buckets, pop jets and a mini slide.
Little ones will have a tub-full of fun at the Toy Story Splash Pad!, a “toy-riffic” water playground for toddlers and young children. Featuring Woody, Buzz and friends adorably reimagined as giant rubber bath toys, this life-sized toybox will be bursting with pop jets, geysers and bubblers galore.
Guests of all ages will ride like the wind on Woody and Jessie’s Wild Slides — the rootin-est, tootin-est romps aboard the Disney Adventure. Following a trail of toy-sized bootsteps, the bright red and yellow slides will send guests twisting and turning down to a splash-tacular landing.
Guests will find plenty of comfortable seating around the sundeck and on the viewing terraces as they enjoy Disney movies, trivia and more throughout the day on two oversized screens. When it is time to eat, guests will round up a platter of poolside pizza, ice cream and drinks from several quick-service dining locations, or they can mosey over to the nearby Pixar Market Restaurant for tasty buffet-style breakfasts and lunches.
Quick-service and Casual Dining Options for Guests
Inspired by the interstellar pizzeria from the “Toy Story” films, Pizza Planet will be a quick-service, outdoor eatery serving out-of-this-world food and snacks with intergalactic flair, featuring a walk-up window and a small dining area.
Wheezy’s Freezies will be the go-to destination for refreshing cool-down treats aboard the Disney Adventure. Inspired by the loveable squeeze-toy penguin from Pixar’s “Toy Story 2,” this poolside, self-service spot will offer soft-serve ice cream in a variety of flavors.
Inspired by the art and artists of Pixar Animation Studios, Pixar Market Restaurant will celebrate Pixar films and the signature studio where they are created. The imaginative eatery will serve buffet-style breakfast and lunch each day, offering a wide-ranging selection of regional and international cuisines sure to delight everyone in the family. At dinner, the restaurant will provide table service and a wide-ranging menu as part of the signature rotational dining onboard.
The entrance and serving areas of Pixar Market Restaurant will reflect the essence and attitude of the Pixar Animation Studios’ headquarters in California, U.S.A., combining exposed steel columns and red brick finishes with iconic imagery of the world-famous Lamp and Pixar Ball. Each dining area will capture the spirit of one of the studio’s beloved films — from “Inside Out” and “Cars,” “Monsters University” and “Turning Red,” “The Incredibles” and more — through artwork, playful light fixtures and colorful props.
Market Bar will be an alfresco cafe adjacent to Pixar Market Restaurant serving up an inspired menu of refreshing beverages and specialty coffees, cocktails, zero-proof cocktails and mocktails.
