Town Square will span three decks and house shops, lounges, cafes, salons, restaurants and entertainment venues
SINGAPORE (Oct. 16, 2024) – Town Square will be a celebration of Disney royals on the Disney Adventure — a magical land dedicated to those who wish upon a star hoping their dreams will come true. Spanning three decks and filled with shops, lounges, cafes, salons, restaurants and entertainment venues, Town Square will exude the enchanting feeling of summer in full bloom with nods to Walt Disney Animation Studios favorites such as “Tangled,” “Cinderella,” “Frozen,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “The Princess and the Frog,” and more.
This charming area will be a hub for many of the Disney Adventure’s premier indoor entertainment experiences, including several family activity lounges and the signature Walt Disney Theatre. Guests will also dine like royalty at Enchanted Summer Restaurant, with dining rooms inspired by Disney Animation’s “Tangled” and “Frozen.”
Town Square will be designed as a fantastical forest blossoming with flora and fauna motifs, centered around the Royal Court. The majestic double-height space will bring to mind a fanciful conservatory crowned with a stained-glass style mural on the ceiling showcasing a constellation of princesses and heroines. The centerpiece of Town Square will be a beautiful bronze statue of Snow White, who will stand in front of the ship’s very own woodland wishing well.
Entertainment – the Hallmark of a Disney Cruise Vacation
On the Disney Adventure, the Walt Disney Theatre will be an enchanting show palace outfitted with state-of-the-art production equipment. Inspired by the magic of Sorcerer Mickey in the Disney animated classic “Fantasia,” it will be adorned in elegant blue tones and radiant gold accents.
Every guest aboard the Disney Adventure will have the opportunity to experience two original Broadway-style productions during their voyage, each brought to life by world-class creative teams and the most talented performers at sea.
- “Remember,” an all-new musical spectacular developed exclusively for the Disney Adventure, will be a heartfelt tale of love and longing starring the adorable robot couple from Pixar’s “Wall-E” and an inspiring cast of heroes, princesses and a host of other Disney and Pixar characters. The story will begin with Wall-E preparing a special surprise for Eve as she returns from a long mission away from home. But when an unexpected power outage cuts their reunion short and causes Eve to reboot, Wall-E calls on heroes from beloved Pixar and Disney films, from “Coco” and “The Little Mermaid,” to “Aladdin” and more, to help restore his loved one through the power of music, hope and treasured memories.
- “Disney Seas the Adventure,” a Disney Cruise Line guest favorite, will be a musical voyage into favorite Disney stories filled with beloved characters and rousing renditions of iconic songs. When Captain Minnie Mouse hands the helm to her dear friend Goofy, he sets sail into uncharted waters on a journey to discover his own inner captain. Along the way, Goofy encounters a bevy of bold and brilliant Disney and Pixar friends from favorites like “Finding Nemo,” “Frozen,” “Tangled,” “Hercules” and more.
In the middle of Town Square will be Royal Court, a grand, double-height entertainment lounge where guests will enjoy a variety of shows, activities and appearances by much-loved Disney characters throughout the cruise. The space evokes an airy summer garden with adorable forest animals embedded in the architecture. Sparkling in the rotunda ceiling will be an illuminated, stained-glass-style mosaic of Disney queens, princesses and heroines depicted as the stars they are in Disney lore.
Also within Town Square, D Lounge will be a family activity lounge and entertainment space offering everything from captivating variety acts to interactive game shows. It will also include access to three fully equipped private karaoke rooms, complete with a vast collection of hit songs, including Disney favorites.
Dining Options Fit for Royalty
Enchanted Summer Restaurant will be a cozy village dining hall forever caught in the celebratory feel of summer. Featuring two dining rooms inspired by the classic Disney animated films “Tangled” and “Frozen,” Enchanted Summer Restaurant will serve daily breakfast and lunch buffets offering a wide-ranging selection of regional and international cuisines. At night, the restaurant will provide table-service dinners as part of the signature rotational dining.
- In the Maximus dining room, guests will feel as if they’ve stepped into a colorful, hand-painted rendition of the iconic maypole celebration scene in Disney Animation’s “Tangled,” embellished with sun patterns, lanterns, frying pans and — in a tribute to the titular guard horse — bridles, horseshoes and other equestrian wares.
- The Olaf dining room will be inspired by a summer solstice celebration in the kingdom of Arendelle from Disney Animation’s “Frozen,” where Elsa’s icy influence on the festivities will be seen in a flurry of frozen decorations, including a shimmering snowflake chandelier.
Located near Town Square and honoring the prestigious maritime tradition of exclusive “captain’s table” dinners, Navigator’s Club will be a grand dining room where nautical voyagers come together to share the stories, songs and souvenirs from their global adventures. The restaurant, part of Disney Cruise Line’s signature rotational dining, will be elegantly outfitted in the height of seafaring sophistication with a refined design inspired by nautical navigation, including maps, charts, and vintage photos and artwork celebrating the golden age of cruising. Its sister restaurant, the Hollywood Spotlight Club, will evoke the glitz and glamour of the golden age of Hollywood. The star-studded experience will begin as guests enter the restaurant down a “red carpet”-style runway amid camera flashes and cinematic posters of Disney celebrities, leading to a fashion-forward, lavishly appointed venue. As they dine, guests will be dazzled by live musical performances starring the most famous Disney VIPs of all — Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck — each dressed to the nines and ready for an unforgettable evening of celebration that puts the spotlight on family, friends and fun. All guests will experience either Navigator’s Club or Hollywood Spotlight Club for dinner as part of their voyage.
Also located just off Town Square, Animator’s Palate will honor the filmmaking legacy of Walt Disney and Pixar animation studios in an elegant restaurant that will transform from black-and-white to full-spectrum color throughout dinner. Comprised of two dapper dining rooms, the space will be adorned with film strips, clapboards, director’s chairs and display cases housing animation boards and mechanical props from classic movies such as “The Little Mermaid,” “Encanto” and “Toy Story.”
A similarly themed restaurant, Animator’s Table will celebrate the legendary artistry of Disney and Pixar animators in an intimate dining gallery inspired by classic ink and paint studios. Authentic artwork from iconic Disney Animation films such as “Aladdin” and “Frozen” and Pixar favorite “Finding Nemo” will showcase the process of transforming a hand-drawn sketch to living animation, complemented by artful embellishments of paint jars and brushes throughout the space. As part of the signature rotational dining, all guests will dine at either Animator’s Palate or Animator’s Table during their voyage.
