Since Walt Disney opened Disneyland in July 1955, the resort has welcomed guests from around the world. Disneyland introduced the world to a new concept in family entertainment and continues to bring storytelling to new heights with two renowned theme parks, three themed hotels and the shopping and entertainment area of Downtown Disney District.
Since 1971, Walt Disney World Resort has focused on delivering legendary guest service and one-of-a-kind experiences that make it the number one vacation destination in the world where families create magical memories. The resort features six theme and water parks, nearly 29,000 hotel rooms, a sports complex, golf courses and Disney Springs.
Tokyo Disney Resort, opened in April 1983 as the first Disney theme park outside of the U.S., is a truly magical place for its guests. Just 12 kilometers from central Tokyo, the resort contains two theme parks and five Disney-branded hotels.
Walt Disney’s dream of a park “where parents and children could have fun – together” became a reality for Europeans when Disneyland Paris opened in April 1992. Since then, it has become Europe’s number one tourist destination, offering two theme parks, seven themed Disney hotels, the Disney Village entertainment complex, and one of the top integrated corporate events venues in Europe.
Shanghai Disney Resort features classic Disney storytelling and characters with “authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese” experiences tailored specifically for guests in China. Opened on June 16, 2016, Shanghai Disney Resort is home to Shanghai Disneyland, two themed hotels, Disneytown, a shopping, dining and entertainment district, Wishing Star Park and other outdoor recreation areas.
Since Hong Kong Disneyland opened in September 2005, it has entertained millions of guests from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Southeast Asia and farther abroad. As the first Disney resort in China, it features award-winning entertainment and guest services specially designed for an international audience, brought to life by a multilingual cast.
