Disney invites fans to join #TeamMickey by celebrating family fun
Los Angeles, Calif. (March 11, 2016) – Mickey Mouse is set to celebrate basketball and family fun with a special appearance at the much-anticipated L.A. Clippers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game at the STAPLES Center, Los Angeles on Sunday March 13th. Mickey will participate in a ceremonial pre-game tip-off with Make-A-Wish recipients as well as entertaining the crowd with a half-time show encouraging fans of all ages to join #TeamMickey by getting up, moving around and having fun!
Fans in attendance at the game will enjoy three never-before-seen cartoon clips showing Mickey’s basketball skills, as well as video footage from when Mickey dropped into a practice session with Clippers players Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, Cole Aldrich, Wesley Johnson and Paul Pierce.
Fans will also be encouraged to capture and share their favorite Mickey moments from the game with hashtag #TeamMickey.
