During today’s Marvel Video Games Panel at New York Comic-Con, Marvel revealed several new characters and gameplay additions for its popular mobile and social games Avengers Initiative and Marvel: Avengers Alliance.
Marvel premiered this brand new trailer for the mobile brawler Avengers Initiative, announcing that Captain America will be the game’s next playable Super Hero. Players can suit up in alternate costumes and use the First Avenger’s abilities to complete the next chapter in the episodic game coming soon.
In the spirit of Halloween, Marvel showed off a brand new Spec Op mission for the hit Facebook game, Marvel: Avengers Alliance, featuring the flame-skulled Ghost Rider. Six brand new Super Heroes were also announced including Cable, Vision, Black Knight, Captain Britain, Union Jack and Psylocke, which will become available in the coming months.
Finally, the team announced that Avengers Initiative and Marvel: Avengers Alliance, the first Marvel games to be interconnected through the Marvel XP platform will offer a new player reward for XP users. Players who beat Hulkbuster Iron Man in Avengers Initiative will unlock the Iron Man Mark V armor for free in Marvel: Avengers Alliance.
