Columbus and Montreal Advance to Disney Pro Soccer Classic Final

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — The Columbus Crew will battle the Montreal Impact in the Disney’s Pro Soccer Classic championship game Sunday at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The Impact was on its way to a third straight win on Saturday at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex before an 85th minute score by Kyle Porter that led to the game ending in a 1-1. The Crew won its third straight game with a 3-2 victory over Orlando City Soccer Club. Crew forward Federico Higuain converted a late penalty kick in the 89th minute to seal the win. 
In other matches Saturday, Philadelphia Union got its first win with a 3-0 win over Toronto Football Club. Union’s Antonie Hoppenot scored the matches’ first goal in the 8th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead over Toronto. In the second half, Union’s Matt Kassel blasted a goal from outside the penalty box to solidify the win.
The Sporting Kansas City-Tampa Bay Rowdies match was scoreless until the 76th minute when Orlando native Graham Zusi’s goal gave Kansas City the 1-0 victory.

The field includes six Major League Soccer clubs (D.C. United, Philadelphia Union, Sporting Kansas City, Columbus Crew, Toronto FC and Montreal Impact) along with the United Soccer Leagues’ Orlando City Soccer and the North American Soccer League’s Tampa Bay Rowdies.

The Disney Pro Soccer Classic is just one of more than a dozen prestigious soccer events held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, which is the leading multi-sports venue in the nation and the official preseason training home of the AS Roma Football Club.
