Oklahoma Wins 2022 ESPN Events Invitational at Walt Disney World Resort

The Oklahoma Sooners celebrated with Mickey Mouse after handing Ole Miss its first loss of the season in the championship game of the ESPN Events Invitational. Oklahoma beat the Rebels 59-55 to cap off the Thanksgiving weekend at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Senior guard Grant Sherfield led a balanced attack by the Sooners, finishing with 12 points, five assists and two steals on his way to earning tournament MVP honors. Oklahoma sophomore Bijan Cortes added 10 points and four steals as the Sooners won their first ESPN Events Invitational title.
